Easy Taco Tuesday

Image
Do you like tacos, but you're lazy as heck?  Or maybe you don't have the most sophisticated cooking skills? Have no fear, I am here to save your Taco Tuesday. Here is how you can make quick and simple tacos. What you'll need: Meat of your choice (hamburger, turkey, chicken, etc.) Taco seasoning packet Taco shells/tortillas Shredded cheese Rice Beans Lettuce Tomato Onion Sour cream Taco sauce Salsa Anything else you like to put on your tacos You can do the traditional beef/turkey taco meat made with a taco seasoning packet and just follow the directions on the packet, but for this example I used chicken. I cut up some chicken breast, threw it in a pan with some olive oil and salt and pepper, and let it cook a few minutes until all the pink was gone. First Post: A Rundown of What to Expect

On the Edge of Something Wonderful As I sit here typing today I am accompanied by the gentle rainfall of summer afternoon showers. The sky is grey, but everything else is full of color from all the water we’ve been receiving. I have a freshly made cup of coffee and I’m ready to begin a new and, hopefully, exciting chapter in my life. If you haven’t already guessed by its name, this will mainly be a lifestyle blog. Follow me on my journeys throughout Florida (and the rest of the world), track my progress as a writer, and sit back for enough bad jokes to last you a lifetime. I started this blog to share all of this, and because I just love to write. I’ll write posts on a variety of subjects and I’ll keep these topics separated so that you can easily follow what piques your interest.   This blog will be highly influenced by writing. For me, writing has become a key aspect in my life and my biggest passion. Please be patient with me as I navigate through this n...

Introduction

Commencement Day Hi. I’m antisocial, but you can just call me Linds. However, know that if you actually call I’m probably not going to pick up because that phone call could have been a text. I’m your typical twentysomething residing in sunny Florida and trying to figure out this painfully awkward thing we like to call “life”.  I’m an aspiring author, artist, and a self-proclaimed dog lover—trust me, this sums me up pretty well.  Welcome to my very first blog and follow me on the magical, mystical (are you convinced yet?) journey that lies ahead. Like me, this blog will mostly be an eclectic collection of topics. You can expect lots of posts on writing, art/crafting, travel, etc. If you haven’t figured out by now, I am unapologetically sarcastic, creative, and just a tad bit—or more—weird. I hope to be able to make you laugh, but I also hope to inspire and encourage you to work towards your goals. So say hello! If you enjoy art, sarcasm, and intellectual conve...
